The breast cancer is the most common cancer, which appears in women. Although the disease most often occurs in women between 45 and 55 years, more often breast cancer is diagnosed in young girls. Because of this fact, it is very important to take measures for protection from a young age.

1. Maintain healthy weight, especially after menopause

4. Consider your family history

Women whose family have or had the case with breast cancer are at higher risk. Talk freely with your family and inform your doctor about possible breast cancer in any of your close ones. 5. Do regular breast examinations

The above mentioned measures are only reducing the risk, but unfortunately, they does not protect you completely. Secondary prevention, ie detecting the cancer at an early stage is crucial.
