The trick that sounds so crazy must be good, right? Cracked heels after a long winter is probably one of the worst things before the season of summer sandals and open foot shoes. Creams, peels, rubbing stone and other tricks often require a lot of effort, persistence and money, and it happens that they do not give any results. Therefore, the best solution is to take what you already have in the house – lemon! Choose a lemon that is large enough so it can cover your heel, and then drain it. From the resulting juice make yourself a lemonade, and in order to take care of the heel we will need the peel. Make sure you squeeze all the juice, but let the interior remains with pulp and wet. Cut the lemon in half and put it on your heel, so it is fully covered. In the beginning it will be a little strange, but you’ll soon get used to it.
When you position the lemon so that it covers the roughest parts, put on your socks so all things are in place. Juice of lemon will act as a chemical peel and will remove the chapped, dry skin. It is necessary to leave the lemons to stand for at least an hour, and optimally it would be to stay overnight. At night is the easiest, because walking with lemon halves on the heels is fairly complicated.
Maybe it seems like another trick that does not do anything – and we felt that way – but the results are really surprising. The heel after only one night becomes much softer, all cracked parts vanish and, after applying the cream, it looks as you were on a pedicure. Besides this, the lemon contains many vitamins which is great for your feet
