Diarrhea is an unpleasant problem and makes uncomfortable feelings, but it is not a huge problem if it appears rarely in healthy adults. But if diarrhea is a chronic condition and occurs in children and older persons, then the situation is changing and needs a lot to keep an eye on it, because as their bodies easier dehydrating.
There are two types of diarrhea: acute and chronic. Luckily, the acute diarrhea is more common and lasts a short period. It is accompanied with gases in the stomach.

1. Body hydration
With the diarrhea, you are losing many fluids, but also you are losing potassium and electrolytes, which are essential to the organism. Because of that, you need to drink plenty of fluids. Consume 8 glasses of water throughout the day. If you have a fever, increase the reception of water for 12 cups. Ordinary water does not contain electrolytes, but it is good to indemnify lost fluids and avoid dehydration. You can drink tea with a little sugar, apple juice and sports drinks.
2. Do not drink too cold drinks
Whatever you choose to drink let it be cold, but not too much. Drink often and smaller sips. It is better than drinking a whole glass at once.
3. Consume chicken soup
Do not eat it very hot.
4. Rest yourself
Rest your body, so it can be able to successfully fight with the cause of the diarrhea
5. Eat light food
Soup, rice, bananas, potatoes, boiled carrots and chicken meat would be a great choice
6. Avoid dairy products
Avoid milk, cheese and other products (except yogurt) until you have diarrhea and a few weeks later.
