Millet contains more proteins than wheat, maize and rice. It is full of nutrients, such as: Phoshorus,  Magnesium, Calcium, Maganese, Tryptophan, Fiber,B vitamins(B1 and B2) and Antioxidants.  It contains 14% vegetable protein,  60% carbohydrates and very little fat.

Due to its high biological and nutritional value, millet is recommended for pregnant women and breastfeeding/lactating mothers and persons who feel physical and mental fatigue. It gives the necessary energy to the body, strengthens immunity and strengthens the hair and nails.

Milled is recommended for people who have problems with the stomach, pancreas and spleen. Eating millet, at least 2-3 times a week is excellent protection against damage of the cardiovascular system and diseases of the intestines. It has a protective role against sneeze, flu and bronchitis.

 

How to prepare your millet:

  • 1 cup peeled grains of millet
  • 3 cups water
  • ½ cup of each: grinded carrot, parsley, leeks, celery
  • ½ tsp. salt

Put the millet into water and boil it. Then add the vegetables and boil them for 20 minutes.  When it is boiled add small dose of salt.

This diet food helps in detoxification of the body.
