Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1/2 slices Celery
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 drained lime
  • Water

Spinach

It may not make you as strong as Popeye, however, the spinach will provide a large amount of nutrients. Its leaves are containing peptides, which are good for lowering blood pressure, phytonutrients, which are helping in the fight against cancer, molecules and vitamin K which can help in maintaining the strength of the bones.

Carrot

Carrots are rich in fibers that can help in lowering the cholesterol levels. Also, they are rich in beta-carotene, which protects against several types of cancer. In addition, carrots are great for your eyesight!

Celery

Celery is rich in antioxidants and is known for its healing properties. It is excellent for detoxification especially for kidneys because it reduces the level of uric acid, which reduces the risk of kidney stones.

Water

We recommend that in every smoothie you should add liquid ingredients. The water is an excellent choice because it has a neutral taste and no extra calories. Many of us are dehydrated and do not even realize it.
