Of all the groceries, beans definitely is one of the healthiest and most beloved food. It is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals, and is an ideal food for children and adults. An excellent choice and manganese, vitamin B1, B2, B5, B6 and B9, phosphorus, zinc, potassium, calcium, selenium etc.


Because of the good combination of fiber and folic acid, beans can be very helpful in the fight against cardiovascular disease and colon cancer. It is especially recommended for children and pregnant women.

It has beneficial effect on individuals suffering from anemia, diseases of the teeth, bronchitis, headache, bleeding from the nose and even impotence. Beans is also effective in insomnia, osteoporosis, cold and flu, chronic fatigue and stress.


American scientists from the University of Colorado have tested six kinds of beans and concluded that helps in various forms of cancer. According to the level of antioxidants, red, dark blue and colorful beans have up to 10 times better effect and more valuable ingredients of yellow and white beans.

And to achieve a better effect it is desirable to be consumed with cereals, because such meal contains amino acids required for the organism
