The envelope containing white powder was sent to the New York office of the potential candidate from the Republican Party, for the presidential elections in the USA, Donald Trump.
The envelope has caused panic in the office, but the agents from the secret service have found that it is harmless.
Five police officers are in isolation because of the suspicious powder. An audit has found that the powder was harmless. But, they must investigate who sent it and what were his intentions.
Similar incidents have occurred in the past. During the past month, to the address of Trump’s son Erik, another envelope with suspicious powder has arrived. There was a message saying that if his father does not withdraw from the candidacy, the next letter will not be false. During the same month, a letter with a threatening content was sent to the Trump’s sister Marian, who is a judge in the District Court of Appeals in Pennsylvania.
